2.3 Quotes are based on measurements, specifications, and information provided at the time of quoting. Any changes requested after acceptance may result in additional charges.
2.4 We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or inaccuracies at any time before acceptance of an order.
3. Orders and Deposits
3.1 Orders are confirmed once:
- the quote is accepted by the customer; and
- any required deposit has been paid.
3.2 A deposit may be required before manufacturing or ordering materials begins.
3.3 Custom-made products cannot be cancelled or changed once production has commenced.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Final payment is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2 Late payments may incur interest or debt recovery costs where permitted by law.
4.3 Ownership of goods remains with Seaforth Blinds until payment is received in full.
5. Measurements and Installation
5.1 We take reasonable care when measuring and installing products.
5.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- clear and safe access to installation areas;
- accurate information regarding wall structures, wiring, or obstructions; and
- that pets and children are kept away from work areas during installation.
5.3 Additional charges may apply where unforeseen site conditions impact installation.
6. Product Variations
6.1 Due to the nature of fabrics, timber, paint finishes, and manufacturing processes:
- slight colour variations may occur;
- minor size tolerances may apply; and
- samples may differ slightly from final products.
6.2 Such variations do not constitute defects.
7. Delivery Timeframes
7.1 Estimated delivery and installation dates are indicative only.
7.2 We are not liable for delays caused by suppliers, manufacturers, shipping providers, weather events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Warranty
8.1 Our products may include manufacturer warranties applicable to specific goods.
8.2 Warranty claims do not cover:
- normal wear and tear;
- misuse or accidental damage;
- improper cleaning or maintenance;
- unauthorised repairs or alterations; or
- damage caused by environmental conditions.

9. Australian Consumer Law
9.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
9.2 Goods and services supplied by Seaforth Blinds come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
10. Returns and Refunds
10.1 Custom-made products are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
10.2 Customers must inspect goods upon installation and notify us of any defects or issues within a reasonable time.
10.3 Approved refunds or replacements will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law obligations.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seaforth Blinds is not liable for:
- indirect or consequential loss;
- loss of profits or business opportunity; or
- delays outside our reasonable control.
11.2 Our liability is limited, at our discretion, to:

- resupply of services; or
- refund of the amount paid.
